A Vagabond and A Wizard

When a wandering wizard, chanced upon the Random Paths of a vagabond, thoughts overlapped. For, the wizard could work upon the wheel of words and the vagabond spoke through potent images. Did life stand still when the two exchanged their first greetings? We don't think so, for both joined in a quest of wielding images and powerful thoughts. This blog is a portrait of such efforts...

Destination Unknown

IMG_0105Destination unknown
A feathered cap
A weathered coat
A pair of spirited shoes
Tell the tale of my look.
My eyes are stained
My glasses crude.
A happy tune
Upon my mouth
I am walking down
That bending road
The "t" post gestures
A hearty salute
A sultry breeze
Flutter about

Who walks ahead
Who walk ahead
My mind repeats
What meets the eyes
Distant footfalls
Beckon me on-
Walk fast
Oh! jolly go walker
Catch up fast!!!

Love the image so perfect for this. I like this because it's the jolly walk is enjoyed, not the destination. Just as life ought to be. :)

The length, breath, and height of this road are beckoning...wouldn't it be awesome to just take a group of people and start walking, no destination in mind, just the journey....

those steps towards the unknown takes the mind & heart to uncharted territories, and that's where the beautiful poems are born. i feel so, what do you say?

Nice one wanderer. Makes me want to sling a backpack and take off on a journey...just me and my solitude and the undiscovered lands that beckon..

It is so lively to walk quick across but at the same time when that walk becomes a race against someone, that starts to sound insane
Good work buddy!!

Adventure is one of the most important things in life, according to my opinion! Thanks for sharing your great poems and thoughts! Your head explanation about the meaning of your blog is awesome too! I've always thought that opposites attract and "Ëven in hottest fire there's a bit of water..." - from my next The Opposite Of Magic... Hope you agree with this thought?

Happy go lucky -- living in the moment. An the enthusiasm for new beginnings, brings a freedom, releasing one from the past. Thats such a nice feeling. On the other hand, I like what Hope said, yeah-- but do linger a while, here your shining armour still has no dents in it yet from the trail they call wisdom. The fool in the tarot pictures looks up, the hermit of wisdom looks down.
