The more I recall
The more it pains
The gushing winds
The falling leaves
The parting soul
The visible darkness
The lovely shadow
Still remains...
Words would never fill the gap
Tears would never call him back
Sighs would moan the moments-
Perhaps, lost in the ocean of love.

Very powerful words completely encompassed in the artwork... love your post, especially the words, 'Tears would never call him back'. Interesting that your post would follow mine.
Oh to recall those moments and wander for a moment in that ocean of love.
An alluring verse
thanks for sharing with One Shot

nice touching words and art work. ....when our loved ones missing from our life we try to recall them...Wanderer said the truth from the life.....
Great artwork.
Autumn-centric, love-lost work
the calling him back sits heavy on me...the wieght of a loss...nice one shot!
beautiful image and verse....
Beautiful. You two are quite a wonderful duo. The words and the picture go together perfectly and the result is masterful.
That moist n forlorn eye amidst the lightning-struck clouds....the crows epitomizing solitude...it's an image that speaks volumes. But the magically woven words coming from ur yarn lends a divine touch and a larger-than-life aura. The poem blends beautifully with the sublime image...and together they tug at the heart evoking some long-lost nostalgia....
@ reflections
I call it coincidence at your post preceded mine, I call it destiny...that I could still keep on writing and I call it sheer luck that I came across such a masterpiece (the image).
@ moondustwriter
it was my pleasure to stop by one spot...loving the brilliant work you all are doing out there. and thanx a lot for dropping by and sharing your thoughts about the post...hope to see more of you in the coming days.
@ jidhu jose
indeed the words hardly stand a chance without the powerful image...they do compliment each other, don't they....?
@ steve
honestly speaking, It was monsoon that came to my mind, the season of love and passion and also the season that brings utter sorrow when one is undergoing a acute sense of separation from one's loved one. you did have a new angle to look at the image and the words that followed it...thanx my friend.
@ brian miller
this feeling sits heavy on all those who are missing some one or the other...thanks for dropping by.
@ magic eye
subtlety at its best---you speak volumes in just few words...nice of you to drop in sir.
@ maria R.

@ ritesh
...wow wow...this is awesome...I could think of some much when I saw the image, or when the image saw my words..thank you lots and lots ritesh...hope you will keep dropping by.
Nice One Shot - cool picture!
wow..i just needed to read this now!its too beautiful..the words speak to me..lovely verse..:)
Like how the second half of the poem breaks with the structure of the first half—adds a dramatic effect.
Nice colors all through ...
"Memoirs never live apart along"
I can relate to this very closely and can feel the pain of loosing... your last lines were perfect... to feel the pain...

"Sighs would moan the moments-
Perhaps, lost in the ocean of love"
Powerful words with the image of two parting birds in different directions.
She looked at the sea
Too far she couldn't see
Clouds obscured the horizon
Silver lining defied the pattern
Winds were stochastic
Birds chirped frantic
Sky darkened to blue
But her eyes searched for you
She hoped the clouds could wait
Her prayer was the only bait
With moist eyes she held her pain
She wanted you home and inevitable was the rain
Then came you to delight her eyes
Smile on her lips and her mother sighs
Tres bien, tres magnifique, mon amie.
Very moving... specially the 'falling' leaves, the 'parting' soul, the 'darkness',the 'shadow'the 'gap', the tears and the 'ocean'.... living testimony of a fathomless entity...emotions from the depth of a pain-stricken soul.... lovely imagery....keep it up :)
Wow...this is such a beautiful poem...
Great work...
Thank you for visiting my blog :)
the desolation omnipresent in both the picture and the verse are starkly visible...are complementary in fact.
Beautiful words and the art.. loved it :)
Thank youy for visiting my blog and I enjoyed the verse you left in response to my poem. I thought I would respond in kind. Your poem is beautiful:
Loops
gaps
absences
traces of tears
bitter sweet reveries
here and now
longing
doomed
never to catch
moments past
nice expression
this came via mail---
hi,
went through your poem. it's short and nice, but well capable to take one back in the past when something was lost. well done.
take care,
Arundhati
Very strong imagerie, sounds & rhythm...
Two birds parting ways in the fork of their lives...in a vividly hued journey. The picture sparks a lot of thoughts. Very provocative.
powerful
true words,
very aptly done...

such sorrow ecapsulated in such a divine presentation - thanks for the enjoyable read!
I think this speaks to the importance of relishing each moment we have with those we love, as it happens. Thought-provoking.
